ARTIST PROFILE - GEORGE BECKER RRL: Who is George Becker? GB: George Becker is a singer - songwriter and CMA country music touring - recording artist! Proud To Be An American... GB has had a four decade musical journey landing him straight in the heart of country. His writing over the years is a perfect flow into his country crossover, based on early southern rock roots. To him genres are crossed and music is about passion! GB has released one full length album in 2022 and numerous digital releases putting him well on his way with a collective 3.5 million streams. His energetic live performances solidify his place in the country music world. GB is largely influenced by Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert and Luke Combs as well as Aerosmith, the Stones and so many more. GB has shared the stage with artists such as The Outlaws, Artimus Pyle, Creed Fisher, Chase Wright and so many more. His music hits hard and is always ready to hit the stage - whether it's with a full band featuring Pete Fry , Leo Sabatino, Mike Hoose and others or going out acoustic solo, duo or trio. We would love to get your thoughts and opinions on a few Rockin' Rich Lynch songs. George Becker on Jersey Heart Mersey Beat: "Being from NJ, I found it very clever and enjoyed the references... (secretly I'm not a Bruce fan but respect the art) ... I like the production and all around feel, cruising in my car type of tune.... thumbs up brother."

RRL: As a long-time member of the independent music community, what lessons have you learned? GB: Biggest lesson that I have learned is that you follow your dreams and your passion. You don't play music to make money, it is a passion and a gift. If you follow your heart and write, record and perform the rewards come naturally. RRL: What have you discovered about yourself in the process? GB: I have discovered the true meaning of passion and integrity. I truly believe music touches people in all different ways. RRL: What's a moment that quietly changed the direction of your life? GB: The day of December 27, 2018 when I woke up at 5 AM and decided that I was going to quit drinking. I have been sober ever since and I believe that it was a divine moment of clarity. Every moment in my life since then has been of more value to me. RRL: What's a memory you revisit when you need comfort? GB: I wrote two songs about my dad and my relationship with my dad - "All Alone" and "Just Like My Daddy Did". A memory that gives me comfort is a specific time that after my dad was diagnosed with cancer he told me "do what makes me happy and helps you find peace because at the blink of an eye, one test result, one phone call one anything, will change it all... follow your heart and your passion". RRL: What's a time you felt unexpectedly supported? GB: I opened for Creed Fisher at Sellersville Theater in PA. It was Pete Fry and myself as an acoustic duo. As I sang the words to my songs and looked into the crowd, I watched as the people mouthed and sang along with me. I was humbled beyond recognition that they listened and knew the lyrics of my songs and forever shines in my soul. RRL: What are you currently working on? What's on the horizon? GB: I have just released a brand new single called "Feelin' That Buzz" on ALL digital platforms as well as select commercial country radio. Also my album George Becker 2022 - 2025 has just been released as well which contains all my single releases in a compilation. My plans for 2026 is to play as many live shows as I can, secure a slot in country music and gear up for festivals in 2027.
